April 2 – Upcoming Talent Show Put on by SBA

March 1, 2014

Though surviving law school is certainly a talent, come show off your skills and enjoy performances from teachers and alumni at TJSL’s inaugural Talent Show, hosted at the new downtown San Diego Public Library on April 2nd from 5:30-8:00pm.  Developed by Professor Guzelian, who along with Professor Semeraro remember fondly similar events hosted by their law schools,  this event hopes to be a longstanding tradition here at Thomas Jefferson. Emceed by Professor Greene, the Talent Show is a formidable break from the books and an excellent way to show your support for the members of our TJSL community.  Some acts not to be missed are Professors Winchester and Tiefenbrun’s classical piano performances played on the theater’s vintage Steinway piano from the 1920s. Our head of facilities, Dennis Sable, plays in a folk band and will be performing a song solo. Professors Berenson, Slattery, Wenger, and Semeraro are in a band called The Innocent Bystanders and will perform four songs at the end of the talent show. A $5 dollar donation from everyone who attends is suggested, half of which will go towards TJSL clinics and the other half will go towards the 2014 class gift. Come support your professors and peers, and enjoy the diverse talents among our Thomas Jefferson community.

Do you have a talent you wish to share? We’d love to add your act to the list of performances. Please contact SBA@tjsl.edu for more information.
